White-tailed Deer at the Wehr Nature Center on May 31, 2017

“Little Buck” was seen in the deep woods at the Wehr Nature Center this morning while doing some birding there. The White-tailed Deer was with another deer as they browsed on some fresh vegetation while I enjoyed their views from a distance. Images were taken on May 31, 2017.

This closeup of a buck in early velvet should be instructive for many viewers.
