One of my birding stops today provided nice views of an Eastern Screech Owl, gray morph. It was resting, its eyes were closed. It was a cloudy day with mild temps, a pleasant morning to be out birding. Images were taken on January 30, 2020.

Amazing camouflage ! Do screechers try to find background that matches their color morph ??
