Warblers and more at Wehr Nature Center in Milwaukee County Wisconsin on May 16-17, 2026

The last couple of days I have birded at Wehr Nature Center and the surrounding area for warblers. Things have picked up some for warblers with a couple warmer days now. Still not like the warbler days back 4-5 years ago but still a fun time to be out finding these tiny birds and trying to get photos of them too. You always seem to find other birds than warblers and that is fun too. Mild days with some breeze, partly cloudy skies and temps in the 60’s-70’s. Images were taken on May 16-17, 2026.
