Great Horned Owl and Barred Owl owlets in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties on May 9, 2026

This is the time of the year for warblers but the warblers are not showing up as expected. Next week is typically the best we I think here in SE Wisconsin but time will tell. So warblers being slow I decided to check out a couple of Great Horned and Barred Owl locations to see if the owlets are out of the nest. Two locations gave nice views of both species of owl owlets.
