Leucistic American Robin at the Fox River Sanctuary in Waukesha Wisconsin on April 22, 2026

One of my birding stops today was the Fox River Sanctuary in Waukesha. Almost right out of the car was a Leucistic American Robin feeding in the grass finding things to eat. I took a few quick photos as the bird was busy hopping around in the grass not minding my presence. It was a pleasant morning out with sun and low winds, temps in the upper 40’s early on. Images were taken on April 22, 2026.

What a beautiful bird!

Getting something to eat here, small insect…

A green worm in the bill…

Just looking…
